Attractive and complex aroma of pears and sweet stone fruits with culinary herbs,
light nuts and lemon citrus tones.
Taste:
Similar flavours remain in the mouth with some meadowsweet hay and dried herbs.
Gentle bitterness gives way to a burst of quite fiery pepper which softens and lingers into a pleasant after taste of sweet fruits and light caramel fudge.
Style:
This is a delicate to medium style of oil with some well-balanced pepper and very little
bitterness.
Assessment:
This pleasing all-round oil should appeal to all but those who prefer a very robust oil. It
offers a versatile cooking and flavouring ingredient in the kitchen and at the table. Use in
baking and desserts as well as in savoury dishes.
